What You’ll Need as a 首页school Applicant 

We welcome applications for undergraduate admission from homeschool students — one reason why many homeschool students choose the University of Mary every year. Our homeschool application process, 下面所列, is specifically tailored to the unique char行为eristics of your education and constructed to ensure you can qualify for federal financial aid.

Accredited 首页 School Curricula Application Checklist

If you use an accredited homeschool program:

1. 在线申请.
2. Pay the application fee (non-refundable).
3. Submit your academic transcript(s) from:
   1. An accredited high school(s). If you graduated from a non-accredited high school or home school program, you may be required to submit additional information and/or other documentation.
   2. GED (if applicable).
   3. Colleges for courses concurrently taken during high school.
4. Send an official score report from the American College Test (ACT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), or Classic Learning Test (CLT) examination (可选).

Send all transcripts and test scores to the Office of 入学s at enroll@squirreltrapping.net.

The university requires transcripts at two points in the admission/enrollment process.

1. An official “in progress” homeschool transcript is required before an admission decision can be made. The transcript must include all courses taken and the grades earned during your freshman, 二年级学生, 大三的时候.
2. A final, official homeschool transcript is required after you have graduated from high school. This transcript should include the following:
   1. The names and grades for all courses completed during your high school education, along with the number of credits. One year of a high school course or one semester of a college course usually equals one credit.
   2. The date of graduation, which must be after the date of the completion of all courses.
   3. The signature of the registrar or designated official at the accredited homeschool program.

Common accredited programs include Kolbe Academy, Mother of Divine Grace (MODG), 西顿家庭研究, and Coram Deo Academy - 首页school Division.

We suggest that first year applicants follow a college preparatory curriculum, which includes the following units of credit for the areas described below:

• Social Studies – three
• Mathematics – two to four
• Science – two to four

If you use a non-accredited or self-designed home school program:

1. 在线申请.
2. Pay the application fee (non-refundable).
3. Submit a copy of your in-progress homeschool transcript. While we provide a transcript template for your convenience, you may use a transcript of your own creation with equivalent information if you would prefer.
4. A final, official homeschool transcript is required after you have graduated from high school. This transcript should include the following:
   1. The names and grades for all courses completed during your high school education, along with the number of credits. One year of a high school course or one semester of a college course usually equals one credit.
   2. The date of graduation, which must be after the date of the completion of all courses.
   3. The signature of the primary homeschool teacher AND the signature of an official from the school district OR a notary. 
5. Submit a notarized copy of the University of Mary Letter of Self-Certification indicating that you were homeschooled in accordance with state law in your home state and that you are above 16 years of age, the compulsory age of school attendance in North Dakota. We will provide a template for this self-certification for your convenience.  
6. Send an official score report from the American College Test (ACT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), or Classic Learning Test (CLT) examination to the Office of 入学s at enroll@squirreltrapping.net (可选).

7. Transcripts from courses taken outside of the home should be sent directly to the University of Mary from the institution. Grades from these courses are to be included on the comprehensive transcript and calculated in the cumulative GPA.
